Join us for another great summer at C.A.T.S. CAMP!
C.A.T.S. CAMP is fun for everyone. It's a time to meet new friends, learn something fun and most importantly have a great time. We encourage students to bring something to drink and to bring snacks. All of the workshops have a party on the last day of camp. Bring your favorite food! It's a fun time to talk, tell stories, and reflect on the two weeks we've spent together as a group.

STONE CARVING WORKSHOP
FULL
Three week session! July 11 -July 29
MONDAY-FRIDAY 10:00AM-1:00PM
This is an exciting form of art. Learn the skill of designing and sculpting a masterpiece out of stone. You will learn hand carving and polishing techniques in this class. The results will amaze you! Return students will be encouraged to concentrate on design and will have a choice in the type of stone they carve. Abstract forms will be allowed this year.
Weather permitting, we’ll do it all outdoors!
Limited students. Age 8 & up, College students & Adults welcome
Members $375. Non-members $390. Includes materials & piece of Limestone. Sibling discount available.

This class is an advanced study of sculpture. Serious beginners welcome. Students will spend time creating a sculpture or sculptures using different types of techniques & materials.
***FULL BODY Characters or animals this year. (*PINK Polyform CLAY) ***MOLD MAKING also offered for students who are interested in learning the process*** Wood Carving, Brazing Metal Sculpture & more

Art for Fun!

Art For Fun! Create a bowl or sculpture in clay and fire it in a 'saw dust kiln'. We'll light the fire and watch it smolder as it cooks our clay. We'll have fun with clay techniques as well as try out different mediums, so come and discover the wild side of your imagination! Students are encouraged to explore their own ideas. THIS CLASS CAN BE IN ADDITION TO ART & SCULPTURE

BLACKSMITHING WORKSHOP

Come learn the art of Blacksmithing. In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals of Blacksmithing while working with a forge, anvil and hand forged tools made by the blacksmith. Learn how to make functional items such as hooks, steak forks, letter openers & much more. Artistic forms also encouraged. Students will go home with wonderful pieces at the end of the week!
Limit 5 students. Age 10-Adult
